“You have the right to like any tweet. And we have the right to voice out our opinions. I hope we don't get tagged as terrorist for doing so. ”

Angel Locsin mentioned it to Senator Tito Sotto, who tweeted about the actress's "pro-NPA (New People's Army)".

Sotto is one of the authors of the Anti-Terrorism Bill.

"I will never support terrorists, nor will I ever support any kind of violence," Angel said on Twitter last night.

Netizens agreed, saying that they would be labeled "terrorists" simply because they opposed the controversial bill.

Even actor Jaime Fabregas, angered the senator.

“The closeness of the brain! We need to remove those from the prison. Don't vote again! Have mercy on the town! ”He replied in Angel's tweet.

Under the proposal, any known terrorist by the Anti-Terrorism Council - to be constituted by some of the president's appointed Cabinet and some security officials - could be arrested by authorities without a judicial warrant.

The suspected terrorist can be detained for up to 14 days, and an additional 10 days if he is found to need to be detained in order to prevent "another" terrorist act.
