Old man travel 100+ km everyday to sell salted fish for recovery needs of his wife - GazeFeed 


Netizens are praising this 64-years-old man who travelled 100+ km just to sell salted fish for the medical needs of his wife, which eventually went viral!

The 64-years old man's name was identified as Md Ahmad which currently lives at Bukit Pasir, Muar in Johor, Malaysia. According to him, he's doing the same routine for over 5 years now, "I woke up early, and travel to Melaka (Malacca City) just to find my luck and look for buyers to sold my salted fish."

"I bring around 100 packs each day of my salted fish and sell it to my neighborhoods in Melaka. I don't have stall in Melaka City that I have no choice but to knock in every house and offer them with my salted fish."

His story went viral after a Malaysian lady Aina Wardina from twitter posted the story of Md Ahmad.  According to Ahmad, he doesn't mind doing this everyday because he love so much his wife. "I love her so much so I will do anything for her just to support her medical needs and hope for her fast recovery" he said. His wife is 73 years-old which obviously older than him that we could assume that she's getting weak.


Ahmad also have health issues in his own, but he doesn't mind it as long as he could earn money to support the medical needs of his wife. "I also don't want to be a burden from my children who have families on their own, and as long as my body can, I will continuing selling salted fish."
