Yes, you read it right! The title says itself that it's all about Coconut Maruya. Reading the title itself would make you wonder that what would be the taste of that food right since it seems to be unique, I mean it's really weird! But when you visit or get a chance to be in Bacolod, you will witness the amazing street food of them! 

What are the Ingredients?

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar / plus extra to sprinkle
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter (Melted)
2 large eggs
1/2 cup fresh coconut milk (Gata)
2 cups shredded coconut (Drained)
Vegetable oil (For frying)

How is the process of cooking? 

1. How to make Coconut Maruya
2. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. 
3. Add butter, eggs, and coconut milk; mix well. 
4. Add coconut meat and mix. 
5. Heat oil in a deep pan. Pour your 1/4 cup coconut mixture into the pan. Fry maruya until golden brown on both sides achieved, about 4 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack or you can use to drain it on paper towels. Sprinkle with more sugar and serve immediately.
