Research says; rona disease seems to be airborne in hospital - GazeFeed

Human could have the virus through air, but if they are only in a hospital setting, the Department of Health said. Wednesday, they release this preliminary research on the virus.

“Yung airborne po na sinasabi ay [the airborne transmission we are talking of applies to] a confined hospital setting,” DOH spokesperson Maria Rosario Vergeire said in a briefing Wednesday.

The presumptions started after a new study was published in preprint medRvix showed that the novel-corona-virus could stay in the air for up to three hours. Therefore there could be some cases that those individuals who was diagnosed to this disease, get infected through inhaling the air from the hospitals.

On the other hand, according to the study of Princeton University, University of California, Los Angeles and other health officials from the United States have also discovered that virus can survive on copper for up to four hours, twenty-four hours in a cardboard, and up to three days on plastic and stainless steel.

However, they clarify that the results are preliminary and they have not been evaluated it yet. This concludes that the findings "should not be used to guide clinical practice." This is why WHO pointed out the importance of one meter distance or three feet of stick from a sick person. To avoid the spread and stop the amount of people infected by the deadly disease called, novel-corona-virus-2019.
