Delicious "Sinigang na Hipon" recipe - GazeFeed

Sinigang is a Filipino type of food that can be best associated with different types of meat. Specifically, shrimp, pork, fish, beef but for this moment GazeFeed will teach you guys on how to cook "Sinigang na Hipon". This is really perfect especially rainy seasons or cold weather. 

What are the Ingredients?

1 kls of Shrimp
1 big of Onion (diced)
3 big of tomatoes (quartered)
12 pieces of Tamarind (Sampaloc) or one pack of Sinigang Mix
2 pieces of Radish (sliced)
1 bundle of Sitaw (Strringbeans)
1 bundle of Kangkong (cut into 2″ long)
3 pieces of long green pepper
5 cups of ricewash or water
Salt or Patis (fish sauce)

How is the process of cooking?

1. Prepare water and boiled it.
2. While the water is still doing its process to boil, you can start putting in the Tamarind with the water.
3. Pound and extract the Tamarind juices and set aside.
4. In a casserole, heat up a water and put together with the following; Tamarind juice, Onions, and Radish. 
5. Lower the fire of your stove or gas, add in Shrimps, Kangkong, Sitaw and green long pepper.
6. Simmer the cooked Sinigang for 5 minutes.
7. You can season it with Salt or Patis. (Optional: Try to put a little bit of soy sauce to make it more amazing.) 
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
